• Come join us for another great Texas Two Step this Friday, July 30th, 2010 and our open dance party from 8-11pm. Wear your jeans, cowboy hats and big belt buckles as we whirl and twirl to great music! We have some great new moves from our champion coaching to show you! Group class and open dance party, all for $10 per person. Location: Dance Elite, located at 6315 Haggerty, just north of Maple, next to the Library Pub, across from Meijers in West Bloomfield. Singles and beginners are welcomed by our great dance crowd of 100+ dancers of all levels and ages. We will start a fun cha cha combinations class next month!
• Mark your calendars for another great latin workshop with World Latin Champion, Kasia Kozak this Sunday, August 1st from 11am-2pm! For $90 per person, you get a small private lesson format working on latin technique and patterns for cha cha, rumba/bolero, swing/jive, samba, and mambo/salsa. Kasia will review the key DVIDA patterns too from her latest DVIDA video! We take short breaks and provide lunch too! We have a few group class spots and private lesson openings left, so please call Glenn to lock in your times.
  
• Calling all amateur dance couples over 21! At our Friday, August 6th party, we will do a fun competition for Motor City Casino VIP show and after glow tickets to the Ballroom with a Twist Show on August 14 at 8pm. Please find attached a flyer on the rules for a one-minute routine in any ballroom/latin/swing/hustle styles. You don't need to be competitors to come out and just have some fun with us! As the two lucky winners, you get to meet Mario Lopez, Louis van Amstel, Jonathan Roberts, etc and dance after the show with the cast! We love working with them and want you all to have some fun with them too! Regular ($45-55pp) and VIP Tickets ($75pp) can also be ordered through TicketMaster, so come out and join us for a real fun dance evening! So start on August 6th at our party for the fun competition, and then a real fun show/after-glow VIP party on August 14th at Motor City Casino's Soundboard. Competition Location: Dance Elite's Friday night party from 8-11pm. $10 per person.
• Saturday Morning Latin Technique (11am) Classes with Glenn Clark, July 31. Come take a private lesson with group prices of $15 per class. We focus on balance, foot strength, leg lines, arm styling for all dances.. If you want to build your technical knowledge in addition to group pattern classes, come join us at Dance Elite. We will also practice all of the concepts from our last month's workshop with Latin Champion Kasia Kozak. This is a private lesson format for $15 per person! Location: Dance Elite
• Monday Morning Matinee, August 2nd starting 10am-12pm- New Hot East Coast Swing Series with group class from 10-11am and then practice for $12 per person at Dance Elite. We welcome all new students and will help you learn quickly and feel comfortable! We have a huge turnout for this class, so come join the fun! Time: 10am for group class and then social dancing with class members from 11am-12pm. Singles and beginners are very welcome! Location: Dance Elite.
• Congrats to all of the Senior Michigan Olympic Dance Competition Winners! We had the best competitor turnout, and the quality of dancing was wonderful with more than 300 spectators and lots of fun social dancing! Glenn enjoyed serving as head judge again for this very fun, social event!
